spyware ads popups. what to use to get rid of all this!??!

hey guys, i have laods of poo poo that i never agreed to install or whatever on to my computer. do anyone of you guys ghave a program u use to get rid of it all? please suggest a good program to use to get rid of this stuff helpppppppppppppp!

btw..some how i hvae a links folder to adult sites and porno for no reason WTF?!

try Configuration -->software and delete everything that doesn't sound familiar, that'll get rid of most of the shit.
I use www.downloads.com and search for all the freeware that deletes ads. Some programs find 100 popup progs and will delete 50 or so, with the next program you delete the rest...

Yes i'm too poor to buy a proper Virus scanner like Norton

I use a combination of Ad-Aware, Spybot, and Hijack This. For Ad-Aware and Spybot (both are free) download, install, and update before you run. Both are fairly easy to figure out and will get rid of 90-100% of stuff that is bugging you. I also use Hijack This which is a little tricky to figure out so you should try the other two first.

Yeah those programs will do fine, unless you are a PornFreak and installed all those "dial-up for daisy" shit

I use Opera 7.5 internet browser...haven't seen a popup in like years...
also, the new IE hasn't it's own builtin popup blockers...just need to upgrade your system to service pack 2...

Who?! Me?! I was just guessing...you know...I don't really visit those site...they popup and I once read that there was a woman called daisy who popped up and she said "Call me" so..you know...that's how I knew :lol:
