Anyone else catch the DFM stream? The game looks simply amazing.

I'm completely confident they'll be able to work out the bugs.
 
Yeah, bugs are not a issue at all.

got a semi when the pilot entered the cockpit and flipped his helmet on. And that sound when the gate was opening. Just pure awesome!
 
Yeah, but the third time he had to do it cause the game kept crashing kind of lost it's charm. :p We'll see how long it takes for the module to be released, but when it does, you won't be hearing from me for a while. :D

The thing that struck me the most when it comes to attention to detail is the canopy and the reflection on the textures both inside and out. I'll save the rest of my comments for this week's episode of Fortnightly Frontier, which is going to be a DFM special and if they release the module in the next week as Eric said, the next one will be a hands-on special.
 
The Dog Fighting Module (Henceforth to be known as Arena Commander) will be out on/around the 29th (This date is real, because when they give us a date they typically stick to it) so don't forget to sign up for the FinalGear group; UPTEC (Utter Pirates Transport and Escort Company) at https://robertsspaceindustries.com/orgs/UPTEC so you can join us in playing Arena Commander! :D

My current computer can't handle SC too well. I'm trying to hold out as long as possible to get my pc upgrade at the best price. I will probably end up upgrading closer to the PU.
 
soooo, what do you guys own in terms of periphery? especially interested in flight sticks of course, since i don't own one and am not sure which way to go (i.e. how much money to dump into one)... and also what your thoughts are on when to buy (since there was talk of an official SC flight stick at some point), for the DFM (which might not see too much action from me) or at some point in the future.
 
If you had been watching Fortnightly Frontier, you'd know that about Joe and me. :p
 
Since I'm not on fortnightly frontier, I can tell you that I'm waiting for what CIG can come up with. If it is anything interesting I will get that. If not I might just invest in a warthog- HOTAS

I don't fuck around when it comes to SC ;)
Full pc upgrade is on its way when the release gets a bit closer for optimal performance
