Stupid Todt...

Read that on f1racing.net and laughed myself silly - though he did at least remove his head from Mosley's @rse long enough to make those statements

Jean Todt has defended Michael Schumacher after the Ferrari driver lost his cool with Takuma Sato at the Belgian GP. The seven time world champion, 36, likened Sato's move at La Source to committing 'Hara-Kiri' -- a Japanese term meaning ritual suicide by cutting open the stomach.
http://www.f1racing.net/en/news.php?newsID=98090

Maybe he forgot about "his ruthless behaviour on the track, notably back in 1994 when he won the World Championship by punting Damon Hill off the road in Adelaide. He tried the same thing with Jacques Villeneuve in 1997 and failed and was subsequently punished by the FIA for that appalling manoeuvre at Jerez de la Frontera."

And that's why I hate the Ferrari team (with the exception of Rory Bryne and Barrichello). Arrogant, egotistic, self-centred.... and so far up Mosley's #rse it's sickening. I've enjoyed watching their downfall this season.

Great quote from Nick Fry defending Takuma:

"Clearly, Takuma made a mistake," the team principal said. "Michael has made his fair share, so I don't think it's very fair to say that kind of thing."

Sums it up nicely

Yeah it does.

damn...is that how you treat your colleagues?
In his case yes, I reckon if someone told him to run to the hills he would reply back with.

"What is a hill because that should go aswell" lol!!

Paul Stoddart is a pickney and should be shot dead.

He fooled thousands of fans just so he could prove a point on how stupid he is.

He wanted to run illegal cars claiming that he was unable to make legal cars in time for the first GP.

Then after a few hours of hard work he had 2 fully legal cars ready after Max told him to fuck of with his pickney fucks.

Yes the modified cars were fully legal - but they weren't properly developed or tested. That was more Paul's point - he didn't have the time given his budget constraints to fully develop and test legal cars.

Stoddard did have a point with the stand he took. He has stood up to Mosley and the FIA the way the other teams should've been doing long ago. Sometimes he makes an ass of himself as a result, but overall he's empowered the other team managers to take a stand - and that's good for the sport.

The whole thing probably wouldn't have happened (the fracas at the Oz GP) if there wasn't an arrogant ignorant a#sehole like Mosley in charge.

Actually they had them tested a few weeks before Melbourne.

He lied ALL the time.

He claimed he had to flew them from europe but then a few hours later the cars was race ready when the socalled parts was still in Europe.

man I love the ferrari hate in this thread, it really is great

Their win at all costs attitude adds nothing to F1, and its good to see even with all their extra testing they cant win a race (except by default)

Not sure how many of you know Jean Totd when he ran Peugot's Rally team, but they were all-conquering. When the F1 Turbo era came to an end, Todt had an idea to put the besoke F1 engine in the Peugot 405 T16 modified and attack Pike's Peak.

I'm sure most of you saw that run by Vattinen.: "Climb Dance"

To have a Frenchman given the reins of Ferrari is no small matter.

I may not agree with the domination at any cost, but damn, they are freakin successful.

I still pang for the Honda F1 years.

PS My all time favorite F1 guy is still Niki Lauda.

He's a great business man, and a great director, but that doesn't mean he's a great person. And with these reactions, it just shows that.
Ferrari might have been ahead, but they always run their cars more than other teams, and rules benefit them.

Actually in the last 4 years RULES been made to STOP Ferrari.
In 2003 a last second rule change made Ferrari to have a car that was too long.

This year again rule changes made to slow Ferrari down and it's been working.

Yeah, they can't use their private tracks, they don't receive more money than the other teams, and when Schumacher does something wrong, he is punished exactly like any other driver...

^ And don't forget the two-race rule for engines - I mean that was just blatantly aimed at Ferrari... they say it's about cost-cutting, but we know it's all a secret plot to mastermind the downfall of Ferrari

Oh, yeah, I forgot that. That and a single tyre provider waiting to happen...

If Ross Brawn wasn't being serious here this would be a very funny article:
http://www.f1racing.net/en/news.php?newsID=99100

Ross Brawn referring to Toyota said:
"I am not criticising them," said Brawn, "but we have to be careful in formula one that we don't end up with a spending - rather than an engineering and driving - contest."

Yeah Ross, we wouldn't want a team just spending mega-millions, running constant testing etc now would we... The delusion at Ferrari has reached a new height it seems.
