Hey guys,
Don't know how many straight line fans are on here, but have any of you heard about the ADRL's "Supercar Showdown" Class? Terrible name, but the idea is to go back to "Win on sunday, sell on Monday" and its open to ANY production car. Too bad is frickin 1/8th mile. Full rules here: http://www.adrl.us/competition/rules./

EDIT: Just finished reading the rules.
Highlights:
"ANY current Production vechicle is eligible for the ADRL's Supercar Showdown" - Big F'n Win right there!
No wheelie bars or nitrous allowed
Traction control, launch control variable valve timing, variable boost units, and paddle shift gearboxes, all legal if installed from the factory.
Weights:
3250lbs - naturally aspirated 8-cly engines
3400lbs - naturally asprated engines with more than eight cly
3550lbs - turbo/blown cars
Finally some strange (IMO) rules:
Factory fuel tank may be used, and if I'm reading this right, cars only require a rollbar, not a full cage.....
Convertibles allowed
EFI Only, No carbs allowed (I get this one, but its still weird to see it)
What Sucks:
8-car Fields Only
Still 1/8th mile
