would superkarts need traction control if they were twice as powerful as nowadays?

I think if any vehicle were to have twice as much power it would need traction control

since they are so small I don't know how much it would work or whether it would be possible

well not necessarily. karts now have a lot more power than they did before, and they do fine without traction control. One would have to put the power on gradually instead of all at once.
 
traction control on a kart would be stupid !
you can not steer the kart if there is 100% traction on the rear wheels.
