Terrorist Attacks in Paris

It gets worse for France. TGV has derailed near Strasbourg with five reported dead. I'm wondering if this is also a terrorist act or just a sad coincidence. From what I know about the TGV its design is inherently good at dealing with derailment due to the shared bogies between carriages.

It was a test train on a high speed run and the reported cause of the derailment was excess speed.

Update. The TGV was a test train on the new Paris-Strasbourg line which isn't yet open. No passengers were on the train but of course still a tragedy on an awful day for France.

Read your own source, this was the act of one person, the Republican Chair of the Committee on House Administration - one pin-headed bureaucrat. This petty act was mocked by people within the US as being absurd and small-minded; to bring it up now, as the world stands in solidarity with the people of France is equally absurd and small-minded - especially given the lengthy relationship between the US and France, one that stretches back to before the founding of the United States of America as a nation.
