A Tesla Model Y prototype has been filmed on a highway in California. Since a buddy of the uploader drove his Model 3 there as well you can get a size comparison between the two models.

I really, really hope Tesla pulls the same thing as they did with the Model X - changing the front fascia on the final unveiling of the production car (before that the X prototypes all wore the same "fake grille" front as the pre-facelift Model S). The car is larger than the Model 3 and from all we've heard there are some fairly serious changes underneath, so why not make the design a little distinctive as well...

So this completes the S3XY joke that Musk wanted. Can we name the pickup something normal?
So, is "Cybertruck" normal enough for you? :p

I wonder how much time this saves them in assembly?

Its not just the floor, front is one cast and the rear is another casting. In theory the can build a car in about 20hrs versus about 30 for an ID4.

I'd prefer my floor welded in.
