Test Drive Unlimited

Just did the Millionaire's Challenge for the very first time. Not too happy with my time. I was doing well for the first ~45min, but then I starting going too fast and eventually got cops on me and my very first ticket ever. :(

Oh well, at least I got gold.

Perhaps another try another day for a better time...

You have only ever had one ticket? I have been playing for maybe 3 hours so far and already have received 2 tickets totaling $88,000.

To be honest, I've gotten a ticket maybe 2 or 3 times, but I never saved the game afterwards. hehe (i.e. unpaid)

I actually paid this ticket. :(

I've been playing TDU on x360 offline and got a total of $700,000 in fines. Once I am playing online, the cops were pursued me, why does it work this way?

When I was playing it, somehow it was A LOT easier to get rid of the cops in online mode, and sometimes close to impossible when offline... Dunno...

It would be awesome if the cops did pursue you in online mode, if you could join someone else's pursuit .

I finally decided to do the millionaire's challenge :) and I got 55'07''76''' in stock Enzo Ferrari. I got caught by the cops once. I must say it was much harder than I was expecting it to be.

BTW, where can you tune up McLaren F1? I can't do it at the British Tuner Shop or the european one...

There are 2 British tunning shops.
1) British Parts and;
2) British Specialists

I think exactly the same. I have it for Xbox 360 and when im driving around with a friend, its really easy to lose a cop, but if im on my own (nobody around for mile or 2) they stay chasing me for ages!

And its MUCH easier to do the millionaires challenge on a Bike. And if you unlock the alfa romeo challenge race it gives you $75,000 a win, and if you keep the Alfa 8c you win its so easy.

^ Agreed on the Alfa race. You just sit there and change direction every now and again. Very easy.

Nooooooooooooooooooo.
I started the Island Tour race but didn't realise what it was before I started. I tried to quit it but somehow started a new game losing my entire progress.
I am so pissed off.

I hate ATI!!!!

The latest drivers completely screwed most of may games and now Test Drive it's unplayable!!! Why do they release such drivers if they don't solve anything???

BTW did you know (test Drive PC users) that Atari released a patch not so long ago which included an Audi RS4 and a Skyline GTR R34???

Yes we did know, and we've all got it. Well, I think we all have.

I've made some progress on a new game. Started with a Saturn Sky and did all the F races. Got a Jag XK and did all the E Races. I have also got a Lotus Elise to do some D races but it seems a bit slow, even when tuned. I also have a Level 3 tuned Muria. That car is truly immense. It will touch 200mph without too much effort and it is lovely to drive.

I started out with an Audi TT. My second car was a Ford Mustang GT, and my third was a Jaguar XJ220 . I still haven't tuned my Miura. Don't know why, just can't bring myself to do it. *Tells myself*Its a game. I can buy another one.*Tells Myself*

I also like to have the cars in the game stock, because I think that having them stock ist most realistic and it gives you at least some idea how these cars are to drive... I mean I've got Stage 3 Koenigsegg CC8S, it is capable of almost 420kmh, which is not possible I believe because the tires would burst and on top of that, it is totally uncontrollable, making a single-lane road is too narrow for it.

Stage 3 tuned Muira is awesome! Effortless powerslides! :D

but the Esprit is still drivable in level 3...it's one of my favoutites...
i did the milionairs chalange in 56.45.something :p in an Merc SLr level 2 tuned...had fun got turned over 3 times :p

Nothing is more fun in this game than hardcore mode. Take a S3 Enzo to some roads with jumps and watch as you get 100 feet in the air.
