Massachusetts Democratic primary was Tuesday both incumbent candidates vanquished their youthful challengers. Note on the Neal v Moore race and the future Neal will step down in a cycle of two and Springfield City Council member Michael Fenton will be the anointed.

Though this ad was brought up to me.

So question 1 is right to repair. It's to have an obd II reader. The goal of the auto makers here are to scare the hell out of women so the only place to repair a car is at the dealership.

For it to happen 3 times in 20 years and 6 times in history it would cause a serious question of legitimacy.

Putting personal politics aside for a second, why... is the Trump campaign sharing their debate prep strategy with the press?

Between:
1) lowering expectations for Biden by trying to paint him as senile
2) trying to convince the American public that he's a radical socialist
3) coming up with no coherent attack on Kamala Harris whatsoever even though she was rumoured to be the VP pick for months
4) this

This campaign has just been incredibly incompetent. Just... purely on electoral strategy.

And yet he's only 7 points behind... makes me worry for what happens when an actually competent far-right populist autocrat decides to run for office one day.

I like your optimism, but I don’t see that happening until perhaps the boomers and gen x’s are all dead. Even then, the democratic idea has seemingly been “Let’s not rock the Apple cart” and allow anyone with strong left policies become a majority representative.” Biden is one of those types I think and many before him, this is why someone like Bernie would never make it no matter how much we try.

Now, that’s not say there’s right wingnuts in younger generations, there are but it’s forced upon by parents as seen with my brother and sister and they’re only 31. Never mind the Kenosha shooter who was flipping 17. I’m trying to stay optimistic despite being normally cynical.

I think you misread my post :p

Imagine Trump with a brain though. Imagine where he'd be if he was actually calculating and scheming...
Calvinhobbes makes a good point though, "far-right populist autocrat" and "sanity" are mutually exclusive.

I really don't want to Godwin this thread, but I think we've seen before that they are not.
From all that I have learned, the fascist governments of Germany and Italy were very far from competent. They “made up” for some of their incompetence through fanaticism, but thankfully, that was never enough to swing the balance in their favour.

Remove the "far-right" bit and the pool gets larger still too.
Absolutely! I don’t subscribe to the idea that everything is left versus right; any populist is in this particular pool.

Federal judge grants temporary restraining order to prevent USPS from sending election mailers with 'false statements'

https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/13/poli...ry-restraining-order-voter-mailers/index.html

We already got ours in a special second mail truck on Saturday. When I first read it I had a moment like "wait what". Imagine being so Republican as to waste taxpayer money to send this out in five states where it doesn't apply.
