The 2020 elections, news, and discussions

It's rare for me to side with the elderly socialist, but unless the DNC fucks him over like they did last time, Bernie seems likely to win the nomination. This is a good thing for the dems, as he is the least failure-prone candidate on their roster. Not to mention the one person within a shot to take down Trump in a debate.
Maybe Trump could try the Bolsonaro maneuver: don't go to debates.
It worked for him but, on the other hand, Trump can talk to a crowd, something Bolsonaro can't.

Catastrophic for Trump. Remember, image is substance for the Donald. Not going to the debates would be akin to campaign suicide.

Bolsonaro instead used WhatsApp and Facebook.

^ He can't see this so... I bet he's got a shirtless Joe Walsh poster.

Vermont goes to Sanders Virginia goes for Biden and apparently by a large margin

I was looking at the results of my own county I would love to hear the reason for voting for Marianne Williamson it's not they didn't know she had dropped out and thrown support to Bernie so what their crystals out of whack?

Sanders wins California.

*watches video*

That was weird...

Things we learned: Dr. Jill Biden is a Kung Fu master and former member of the Deadly Vipers

Maybe there can be unity. I mean nothing says Biden like sunglasses and ice cream and anyone who has met Bernie knows his Vermont Cheddar (often horseradish) love. Democrats for Dairy!

With Warren doing so poorly in her birth and home states, I see her withdrawing from the campaign and supporting Sanders. If Bloomberg stays in, things will improve for Sanders. If Bloomberg pulls out too, Biden may have it sewn up.

Something besides my burning hatred?

He also won the award for the dumbest way to waste $500,000,000 while dredging up his past failings.

Over the police harassment (“stop and frisk”) or is it some other horrible thing?
It's stop and frisk, his stance on guns, his support for the Chinese Communist Party, his treatment of women who worked for him, and his banning of sodas over a certain size. In short, I think he's too authoritarian, and also an asshole.

Here's some background info on his treatment of the women who worked for him, if you're not familiar.

And some commentary about his stance on China.
