Well, I still stand by my opinion. For under 20,000, the Mazda3 is the best car out there. Period.
 
good topic, i got an automobile mag that lists cars under 20,000.

gonna list it and take my pick.
 
I would definetly pick the Mazda3.

I've test driven most of the cars in that price range, and the Mazda3 is by far the best. Even the Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V, which has much more power, isn't nearly as fun to drive as the Mazda3. There isn't really much else that even comes close to it in comparison.
 
I'd prolly go with the MZ3 too because with my other choice (the new Golf) you can't get much more than a base GL... :(
 
im going with the new mustang, cool, under $20,000, fun and american.
 
i know BUT its for pride, there are a handfull of american cars we can be proud of.

mustang is one.

I know you'll probably want to come back with some snide "well Canada doesn't even make cars" remark, but we don't make our own cars, and we're proud of that! :p

the mustang is a good car, its not great but i rather have that than any other car under 20,000.

and yes a mustang is something to be proud of, same with a vette, Ford GT, Saleen S7 and Hummer.

Oh give me a break. The Mustang is a terrible car. My best friend has a Mustang Convertable and it is the bestest piece of crap I have ever been in. The engine is the only thing that it is above average but even then it is anything spectacular. The rest of the car is horrible.
 
for sub 20,000 what can you get, well a girly mazda. :wink:

It's an SiR (in Canada) or Si (in the US). And get the 99-00 model, like I have. Those are the good ones, the new ones are fugly.

And Justin, it's not inability. You should know that. Just becuase no car companies have been started out of Canada doesn't mean we don't have the ability. And I agree with that the Mustang isn't great. I detest them, except for the SVT and Saleen versions. Those are the only ones that IMO deserve respect.
 
of course those are good ones but a reg stang is not bad considering less than 20,000.
