Ordered a Galaxy Nexus yesterday. Can't wait to get rid of my Desire.
I have a Droid X. Does that make me cool?
So, people that have the Galaxy Nexus:
How is the GPS? Has Samsung learned how to make a proper one?
My Galaxy S is still working fine but I am looking at buying the Nexus, so please chime in whoever has one.
I haven't had any issues with mine. Always grabs a signal real quick like.
Thank you.
Tomorrow I will check how much one would cost me on my current carrier.
Anyone else having occasional issues with wifi and ICS? Specifically, a tendancy to disconnect then reconnect at random?
None, so far, but I have found out the hard way that in some aspects my hacked HD2 seems to be superior to native hardware...Anyone else having occasional issues with wifi and ICS? Specifically, a tendancy to disconnect then reconnect at random?
Does anyone have experience with connecting android to an ad-hoc wireless network?
A little background, my plan is this:
<internet> - <marina AP> - <powerful wifi antenna> - <laptop> - <ad-hoc network> - <android>
The first four steps work fine.
I'm 90% sure it works fine, but can double check when I get home this evening. I think I remember doing something similar, minus the giant boat.

Everything works fine with an iPod or my Bada phone at the end, android refuses to connect. Not giant either, a bit over 10m / 34ft.
Today I learned someone actually bought a Bada phone.....

Google have filed a patent application for a sliding QWERTY phone.
