You know you're a geek when you can't resist buying one of these to use as a keychain :p:

Oh, i've seen those around, i'm jonesing for a set

The "remove before flight' thing is on all of them, only one side of the keychain varies.

I should get the whole set the next time I'm going around that area.

I've seen a set with different writing actually, 3 or 4 different text

The ones down at that particular store all had the same "Remove before flight" script.

Regardless, its still awesome.

so did it ever fly? or just once? I always thought Bruce was on about bikes when he talked about suicide machines in his lyrics.....I think he was referring to that :p

Hawker Hunter maybe?

Yes i think so .
One monoplace (single seater?) on the left and a biplace (two seater ?) on the right with the missing fins.

Thanks! That appears to be right, but it begs the question. Why does someone in Oklahoma own 2 hawker hunters?... weird.

Edit: Through the help of google I found this tidbit...
The one without a tail is F.6A XK149,being restored to flying condition by Aero Group, Inc of Tulsa. The one with the tail is Hunter T.8M XL603 and is a very rare T.8M Sea Harrier training variant.

Once jets become available to the public, the move all over the world. For instance, there is a MiG-15 in Cahokia, IL at Parks College Airport. Or at least it was there when I was in college, I haven't been to the airport in years. Belongs to some random guy who flies it around just for fun.

I'm sure this particular pic has been posted before, but anyway.
