It's a Citroen CX. May's using a Lotus Eclat and Hammond a fairly predictable Landy. More pics in the Random Twitter Sightings thread.

So a cheap car challenge combined with the caravan holiday.

Yo, Top Gear audience, we heard you like reposts so we put a repost in your repost.....

I'm waiting for season 61 when Jezza will be 73 or something. They can then combine the knob gags with the challenges. "My penis - how hard can it be?"

Does my penis look big in this? Err, no May, it doesn't!

Not sure what Jezza was offering May here

Film crew

Jezza's having a good time

Hamster isn't

I can already tell you what the discussion thread of that episode will look like:

Randomer1: "I rolled on the floor laughing"
Randomer2: "Classic Top Gear 11/10"
Randomer3: "I laughed throughout the entire episode 10/10"

Me: "It was shit"

Randomer2: "Go watch Fifth Gear"

Jezza still smoking:

MWF and ahpadt: go watch Fifth Gear. :p TG has turned into an entertainment show about cars, either live with it or, er, go watch Fifth Gear. :)

Chances that they had any involvement in actually making these rigs? I think they completely gave up on that when it was time to modify the lorries. Also, remember back when they had a budget for modifications, so they were, you know, sane?

That said, it does look like they actually picked interesting cars. I hope we'll get some car trivia in the breaks between Hammond bumping James and the penis jokes.

Good to see TG come down to Cornwall for a challenge.

Seems the places they are filming ar Newquay's Fistral Beach (The Waterfront Bar/Grill) Polzeath Beach, and possibly Padstow (unsure about that).

Hmmm . . .
"In keeping with the Lotus mantra of 'simplify and add lightness,' James opted for a tin foil Airstream model that he'd picked up from Airfix."

"Hammond, fully confident in the Land Rovery's hauling abilities, simply built his camper out of leftover bits of stone from his latest house renovation."

"And meanwhile, Jeremy, keen to comply with BBC regulations, had simply attached a bit of prefab that he'd found in Surbiton."

Terrible thing to do to a Lotus, no matter how old.

And is Hammond always such a grumpy little sod?
