what a name...but that's the newest mini introduced.

it has a turboed 1.6l engine, boosting 218bhp and 245NM.
only 2000 will be made though

but look at it!

HOT!!!!

just how much are they charging for this?

no price tag yet

oh yeah, and they also trimmed 40kg ou tof the interior (=back seats gone)

I don't like it...

and that much power from a 1.6?!?

Reliablity issues/ Turbo lag anyone?

^and it's still FWD

crap, good point :?

in the newspaper, where i actually read the article, they said the backseats were gone

It's hot.. But i'm thinking a lot of turbo lag or torque steer

a. no turbo lag its got a supercharger
b. torquesteer- definitly. good if you want to go left :D

all sources i've seen say it's turboed

I wonder if a rear wheel drive mini could be engineered - then it would be a proper BMW

Well since the current cooper package can put it to around 30k This will probably come out at like what? 35...

Completely insane.

That being said I really like the mini's, mostly because of my mothers, she just had her S delivered.. 24k (less hp than the new civic si for 3 k more). Still that car is a fun little machine.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet

Well, the Mini definitely costs like a BMW; it's like $30,000 in the States. Who cares though, I love that car and I plan on owning one when I'm older and I have the money.

Mini's don't torque steer with the Super charged engines, tuned or factory, they shouldn't TS with the new setup...

That spoiler is bit too creamy for me. I don't care how fun it is to drive but the horrid dash and interior quality in normal Cooper S makes it very unappealing. And the price is too massive for something so Mini :)

Lose the spolier and those horrid wheels, and paint the fog lamp surrounds body colour - then I'll give it the thumbsup.
