Here's a simple idea that came from a comment I made on the irc
You take the price you paid for your car and you divide it by the amount of horsepower your car has.
For example, my car was $6500/ 100 horsepower
Which makes it $65 a horsepower and $34.75 a lb foot of torque.
If it's new use the base price of the car.
EDIT: Please make sure to INCLUDE THE MAKE AND MODEL OF THE CAR you are using these numbers on. We will also need your engine displacement in cc, it's horsepower and torque (in hp and lb/feet) and your transmission type.
THIS IS HOW I WANT TO SEE THE INFORMATION: (I used Mauger's as an example)
I WON'T BE ENTERING IN HALF COMPLETED FIELDS FROM HERE ON OUT. TRYING TO FIND THE SPECS ON DOZENS OF CARS ON GOOGLE IS INACCURATE AND TIME CONSUMING.
Here is a speadsheetI am we are working on
Here is the hard link to the table: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgX0AmiajqbfdGpubW5xR1E5VmpoYUdsdXB4RHNtSkE#gid=0
If you want to screw around here is the screwaround copy

Special thanks for Viper007Bond for getting the code to embed this, Perc for fine tuning the table and many other ircers for entering a lot of information.
