1972 Gran Torino Station Wagon

There is a difference between a sleeper and a hot hatch or estate. The latter needs to look sportier than its kin.

I think this needs a bump with a new task...

May i suggest trying to find a car with an engine bigger than a V8 for ?10,000 (equivilent currency).

That's easy...we just need to look for XJS's. There are also some BMW 850's for that price. I can't be bothered to post examples right now.

^ I also found a few straight-8 Packards within the price range, but the V-12s Packards available right now are all in far too good condition to be cheap enough.

That 850...

The Viper, though, is only a half a car. :p

I'm gonna start up a new challenge.

Restoration rip-off for $4000.
Must be a project vehicle in fairly poor condition (non-running). Preferably American muscle, but not mandatory.

Sorry if this has been done before, but I think its ok to repeat challenges with eBay's constantly circulating inventory.

How about this:
1980 Alfa Romeo Alfetta GT

I'm thinking...dump that old non running engine and drop in a 2.3 litre 4-cylinder Volvo engine with a big Turbo :)

Suggestion for next challenge:
Anything for less than $1000.

I know it might have been done before, but it's a good idea.
