The Funny Maths Thread.. which sometimes contains mildly amusing pictures

As for the Zombie apocalypse thing, I'm pretty scewed, to my left is a corded phone, a cup, a few rolls of quarters and a tapemeasure. However to the right are my car keys... and my car has big tires and a steel bumper. :p

It's one that QMX put out, I think. I can post the image if you want.

Vault Boy should give me some useful advice

You didn't pay to much attention to the test near the beginning of the game. :p

and to my left, a small TV, sub-woofer on a board(it mounted in a trunk) and 2 drawers full of misc stuff. But about 12 feet to my right is a gun safe, a baseball bat, 2 hockey sticks, and a friend.

PROTIP: mount all weapons to the left of your computer, for massive e-penis engorgement.

There's a reason they are so expensive. Steve Job's isn't a complete moron. Plus everytime I've installed OSX on something other than a mac it's been unstable. TBH, they build the OS around their computers hence why it works so well on them. I still have a Windows PC, I think everyone needs one, but my Macbook is my main machine and will be for a few years to come.

Call me an idiot if you want, but I feel this laptop is worth every penny of the ?1000 I paid for it. My dad spent that on a dell Windows laptop and it lasted all of 2 years before it was, well dead/slow/windows.

Well, it's not just Apple that does those things, all the other PC- and workstation-manufacturers do that, too, if you want to customize your rig. At our company we can customize Fujitsu-PCs, workstations and servers, and for the workstations 2 GB RAM have an MSRP of 163 Euros, a 1 TB HDD has an MSRP of 240 Euros (but we don't sell it for the MSRP usually since we get it very much cheaper).

And let's not forget, the Mac Pro is a workstation, not a PC, with Xeons, ECC RAM and all the other stuff workstations have, but "normal" PCs don't. That's why they are workstations.

P.S.: I don't have a Mac and am not planning to buy one, I just state facts here.
