You haven't been watching enough police chase videos :p

I remember one where a guy stole a bus and literally bashed his way through roadblocks (even reversing into pursuing cruisers at one point) in a residential neighborhood until eventually slamming into a house.

I also remember a relatively famous event where someone went on a joyride in a tank, yes, a fucking tank, stolen from a military base. This one resulted in epic failure, however, as he eventually got stuck on a guard rail.

These are just two off the top of my head. The PIT maneuver can have some interesting results at high speed as well.

AND with that, Clarkson's "European Police Chases are lame" argument goes right out the window, as that is 10,000 times more badass then anything I've ever seen in the US.
To be fair, what he actually said was that English police chases were lame, not Europe as a whole.

I dug up some info on that, it was taken on the 28th of april last year on the E4 from G?vle to Hudiksvall, the photographer Joen Jarl was overtaken by a speeding Audi followed by a police car and whipped out the camera. Inside the Audi were two drugged thieves who the police had been chasing from G?vle. Joen was awarded 71 717 kronor for the picture series by the newspaper Expressen.

Some observations, the left front fender on the police car is supposed to be blue, for some reason it must have been replaced shortly before this and not had time to be painted (stickered) and the green stripes on the V70 indicate that it belongs to the Prison Service. It did not take part in the chase, it just happened to be there at the time.
