each time i read that blokes name, i keep accidentally calling him Mahmoud Ahma-Dinner-jacket. can't remember where i heard it from (although it was probably Mock the Week) but not been able to shake it since hearing it.

translation: A day-care center mourns the loss of their two rabbits. Drug addicts broke into the children day care center at night where they grilled and ate the rabbits. They?ve been arrested - they even bought Potatoes and peperoni.

I think it?s funny, with the evil one, Murdoch, attacking the BBC. Any derogatory depiction of him is by definition funny and completely justified.

I am maybe missing the connection to George Osborne and the PM David Cameron. (Donations to Tory party funds?)

Murdoch is a major "financial contributor" to the Tories. its been widely speculated that the reason for this was so that Murdoch could get the Tories to restrict the BBC and allow him to gain a advantage over his main rival. His newspapers The Sun and the News of the World and his Sky News Channel have all been widely critical of the BBC. Murdoch has frequently stated that the BBC has too much power in the market and needs to be restricted.
never minding the fact that BBC News is far better to Sky News and BBC is responsible for many of my favorite shows (That certain Car show and another tv show about a medical professional).

Meanwhile, the only good thing ever to come out of Sky One was Braniac (which got ruined by Vic Reeves), not to mention imported US shows that they didn't make.

Beer in a shoe?

At the newspaper I worked for in college, we had an annual tradition where the new editor-in-chief would chug a loafer full of beer served to him by the outgoing EIC. So yeah, that's not terribly far off.
