I think my ink is like 45$ for both if it's name brand? as far as ink goes that doesn't seem terrible.

I don't have projects to print, but I've learned to appreciate pdf files because of this kind of problem. Whenever I'm wondering if something will come out right when printed, I print it as pdf first and then convert that to dead tree format.
