At work we have a system where we can create network diagrams etc.; I just wanted to create a network rack diagram and selected the appropriate template. Someone who programmed that system had some fun because this showed up instead of a blank page:

 
I love finding little glimmers of humanity it that sort of thing. This is inside a guitar effect pedal:

My understanding is that it's a blank slate posted to reddit that you could edit individual pixels, but so can everyone else...and the results you see are the results of some randomness and some coordinated effort. These are both time-lapses, some of specific areas, and the one I posted (I THINK) was the whole thing.

It's sort of like that "twitter plays Pok?mon" thing, but instread of controlling a video game, it's a living drawing.
