haha my video refuses to die! 5 more comments in the last week (mainly of 'lolz u r teh ghey' variety from 12 year old Holden/Vauxhall/Opel fanboys), but I'm shocked at how people are still watching this shit considering the race has been ostensibly run and lost.

Anyone else finding their videos still getting hits?

I'm at 5600 hits and still going strong!

"tone" ... I wasn't talking about you, I was talking about scotth_uk ... which I feel confident in doing, becuase he's in the UK (I presume) and I am in AUS ... secondly, "tone" Iwould never hit anyone who opted to review an astra, now if they had reviewed a turbo ford territory and posted it on youtube then I would no choice but to ... deface their paint work ... with the tip of my boot.

Clarksons_Undies,

I live in Sydney. I used to live in the UK. :) Still fancy hitting me?

Has anyone heard where they're up to with the selection process? I heard they were doing screen tests last week or so...has there been any updates? Its gone quiet for a while.

Don't know where they are up to, but I do know that the first round is over. So if you haven't been contacted yet, you aren't going to be.

Yeah, I knew it was all over for myself, but was wondering if they are any closer to picking the top 3...Stiggie, ur mate has obviously not heard anything yet or isn't allowed to say?

wow, that was quick!

good luck to your friend of a friend, stiggie! :)

The friend met the other 11 at the on-screen trials and already has an opinion on who should win.

An Australian motorsport presenter from the BBC, a cartoonist and a driver trainer.

Christ. I know who that cartoonist would be.

Warren Brown. Squeaky voiced twat.

He does the editorials in the Daily Telegraph. Big car enthusiast. He was in a show where he drove an old car through China or something.

Peking To Paris? I quite enjoyed that series, I caught it on National Geographic Channel last year sometime.

Yeah, he might be OK.

Driver trainer ... hmmm ... I'm thinking it might be someone like Warren Luff. He's a driver trainer with motorsport experience. Perhaps a candidate for the Aussie Stig?

Warren Brown and Warren Luff .... that'd be a lot of Warrens

She'd have to change her name to Warren to get the gig. :)

It's funny, but all the people you've mentioned are from NSW ... which is as per my original prediction ... SBS will cull all the people who don't live in Sydney ... ridiculous
