Nothing wrong with silver, it is just used a bit too often. It is almost the new white of the automotive world. Both of which are still better than beige.

That is a large chunk of my current "if I win the lottery" garage. Maybe silver for the GT3 RS and a B5 instead of B3 but close otherwise.

I have had this weird fetish for BRG-ish colors for the last couple of months. I don't completely understand it myself but the thought of a dark green Range Rover like above with brown/dark orange interior is just pure car porn to me :dunno:

At the moment, I own 3 green cars and I'm providing storage for a 4th:
I think I've posted all of these cars before in various threads...


This is my 'baby'. It's a 1966 Nova SS - a documented L79 car (327/350 4-speed). I've owned it since 1972.


'Kermit' is a 1951 Chevrolet business coupe (no back seat installed at the factory). He has his original 216 engine and 3-speed manual transmission.


'Elizabeth' is a 1968 Triumph TR-4A that's been in storage for years. We brought her back to the shop at my house earlier this year and repaired the problems with the steering. Now I have to go through the hydraulics and fuel system...


'Neptune' belongs to my buddy John. It's a fast-and-fun '55 Chevrolet 4-door with the 302 and 4-speed out of a '69 Z28 Camaro. The name came from the car's color - Chevrolet called it Neptune green.

Mitchi - thanks for the interest!

I've been (slowly - I'm old...) building a website for my cars, projects & garage. I'm using a Google site and have been trying to structure it in a way that's easy to navigate.
I've used Google for a couple of other websites and find it somewhat difficult to set up in as orderly a fashion as I'd like. I'll post a link when it's finished. :rolleyes:

MG also did a limited edition run of pre-facelift ZRs in a metallic green that I really like. A former co-worker had a mint condition example that looked fantastic in the sun. I'll probably never own one because the limited edition cars are scarce and ZRs fall to bits like nothing else but I think they look alright. :lol:
