The "motorsport events I want to see" thread.

So I was pondering this evening what motorsport events I would like to see in my lifetime. In no particular order:


Pikes Peak Hill Climb - See it once before idiot enviromentalists shut it down.

Goodwood festival of speed - The prestige and pedigree alone is worth it.

LeMans - The greatest race in the world. What more can I say?

NISMO festival of speed - some amazing cars that rarely venture west.

Paris to Dakkar rally - the greatest battle between earth and machine.


What would you like to see in your lifetime?

I've seen Shumi, now I want to see Rossi (the best rider ever to straddle a bike).

I'd also like to see naked chicks riding camels.

The only one I really care about is the F1 race at Monza, I have to go see that before I die, or before the track dies, whichever comes first.

Paris Dakar, well I'd prefer taking part over watching it. It's such a magnificent event.

All that lot, plus Goodwood. And either the British or Belgian GP - the tracks where you can really see an F1 car corner at ludicrous speed.
