I shall now showcase The Creepshow, a Canadian group that uses a standup bass. Awesome.

BTW, the blonde and brunette are sisters, the brunette handed singing duties over to her sister after the first album.

I am going on a long-ish trip fairly soon that is mostly on the interstate, so I finally (after 8 years) installed a stereo and speakers in my car.

Now my taste in music has changed a bit lately, and I haven't updated my library in a very long time (10+ years or so).
So I've been trying to build a new collection.
Here is what I have so far:

  • Allison Scagliotti - Where Is My Mind - Warehouse 13
  • Anni B Sweet - Take On Me
  • Audrey Hepburn - Moon River - Breakfast at Tiffany's
  • Birdy - People Help The People
  • Birdy - Skinny Love
  • Bob Dylan - Forever young - ParentHood
  • Bon IVer - Skinny Love
  • Bright Eyes - First Day Of My Life
  • COnor Oberst - Milk Thistle
  • Death Cab For Cutie - I Will Follow You Into The Dark
  • Edith Piaf - La Vie En Rose
  • Feist - 1234
  • Gheorghe Zamfir & James Last - Einsamer Hirte - Kill Bill
  • Gogol Bordello - Through The Roof 'N Underground - WristCutters
  • Gregory And The Hawk - Boats & Birds
  • Half Moon Run - Give Up
  • Hey Kelsey - Boats & Birds
  • Hey Kelsey - Fuck Was I
  • Ingrid Michaelson - Be OK
  • Ingrid Michaelson - Creep
  • Ingrid Michaelson - Giving Up
  • Ingrid Michaelson - The Way I Am
  • Ingrid Michaelson - You And I
  • Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - Somewhere Over The Rainbow - 50 First Dates
  • Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah
  • Josh Ritter - Change Of Time
  • Lisa Mitchell - Coin Laundry
  • Otis Redding - Dock Of The Bay
  • Peter Gabriel - Don't Give Up
  • Peter Gabriel - Mercy Street
  • Peter, Bjorn & John - Young Folks
  • Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
  • Pixies - Where is My Mind - Fight Club
  • RadioHead - Creep
  • Regina Spektor - Samson
  • Sarah Jaffe - Clementine
  • Sarah Jaffe - Summer Begs
  • Sarah Jaffe - SWelling
  • Scala & Kolacny Brothers - Creep - Social Network
  • Soko - Why do you treat me like you do
  • Tango with lions - Sad big blue eyes
  • The Band - The Weight
  • The Beatles - Here Comes The Sun
  • The Head And The Heart - Rivers And Roads - Chuck
  • The Polyphonic Spree - Light and Day
  • Tracy Chapman - Fast Car
  • Yael Naim - New Soul
So, does anyone have any suggestions for songs of a similar nature?
(No suggestions to "hand in my man card" please. :p)

Melodic, Very sexy song... I love the guitar solo breaks at 1:29 & 2:37.

And three highway driving song selections...
