The Music Thread

been obsessed with this one for a minute...

I'm desperately looking for the name of the piece of music in the beginning of this video:

Anyone heard it before? I'm pretty sure I have, but I don't know where.

The new Bowie is great. There are a number of stand-out songs on this record, namely 'Valentine's Day,' 'How Does The Grass Grow,' and '(You Will) Set The World On Fire.'-

Easily one of the best rock songs ever (I especially love the chorus)! :D

I watched Wreck It Ralph, and now I can't get this song out of my head. Normally I don't like newer music like this song, but it is rather nice.

Hi, today I was i a shop and I heard a nice song there, but have no idea who plays it. Whote down some lyrics in my phone, but cant find it with google! Maybe misheard something.

It goes something like:

"Sorry for Your moeney, sorry for Your load"

"Take us back to the place we know"

"This town is to small for my problems to fit in"

Anyone has a clue what is this song?

Thanks.

:)

This was a creative remix...but I hate it so much. I like the original song so much more. I saw them open for The Frames about 3 years ago, and it was such a great show, all around. She's so cute. :)

I'm starting to enjoy Frank Turner. Its such happy music its making me happy. I don't like it. :|

I'm liking this guy too after a friend recommended it to me. Don't find his music happy though, half of it is melancholic (ok-ish) and half is ANGRY (awesome!). This is more just listening to the music itself, not necessarily the lyrics I guess.

Also, can't believe nobody here has put Flume up before! (Or if they have, they haven't mentioned his name coz search came up with nada). It may be computer produced music, but its good computer produced music. And he's talented- saw him at a festival over the weekend and he can make a crowd dance. Only 20 I think too!

Also saw this guy at the same festival over the weekend, he is really good (and funny). Also now have a 'hover board appreciation society' hoodie, I love it!

Has somebody been listening to Triple J? :p
But yea, Flume and Seth are great. Personal favourite from Flume is 'Bring you Down'.

Also just found these guys 'The Glitch Mob'
This is probably their most famous, as it was used by GoPro. But 'Drive it like you stole it' is pretty awesome aswell.

Also, through my love of AWOLNATION I found this hidden gem. Helped me a lot through the past few weeks.
