Yeah that's true but these ones where in stock and I thought that WD didn't produce 1.5 TB disks.

I think that the next step will be 2TB instead of 1.5TB it sounds more logical.

I too bought myself a new hdd.

Seagate DiamondMax 500 GB

It was the cheapest (55?) 500 GB I could find in 5 minutes so...

Yeah, go ahead amd buy Seagate.
My 3 month old 1TB Samsung (also 120MB+ read speeds, Quicky!) decided to have a SMART error over the weekend, especially weird since it was on the 40Gig Partition I set aside for a future fresh install that is completely unused.

After the Samsung program was finished repairing SMART says stuff is okay, but remembers the bad value it had...
Prolly gonna get another 1TB HDD for Christmas and then send in the old 1TB drive and use it externally after it came back...
