The Perfect 10 Car garage

Bugatti Veyron
The Josty GT (Why not make yourself your own car when you've got the money;))
Ford GT
Vauxhall Monaro
Subaru WRX STi
Mazda RX-8
BMW M5

Will add some more...

Well, if I have ten whole cars to play with, this could be fun :)

See once you get the Blank Check, you need to drop coin on something that's just foolishly expensive. So you buy an
1) Aston Martin. For me it'd be either a DB-9, or I'd drop more coin and have the DB9's engine put into a DB-7, cuz its prettier :)

But then you get bored driving your crazy-luxurious car, and you want to go to the track. Sure you could get a Vanq or whatever, but why do you need such a big track car? So you buy a
2) Lotus Exige.

Astons are all great, but they're for drivers, and if you want to be driven, you'll need a bigger car. Maybach, Merc, Jag, BMW, whatever. For my money, it'd be the
3) Audi A8L Diesel.

One day, however, you get annoyed at driving your Exige to the track, and decide you need a tow vehicle. Choices abound, do you want an SUV or a pickup? Should it be a dedicated tow or a dual-purpose offroader? If you've got a family, they'll need a car, so you decide to multitask and get a
4) Volvo XC-90 with all the options.

Of course, your house in the mountains has a lot of land, and you need a Utility Vehicle. Again, you've got choices. SUV or truck? Since I've only used five, I'd get both!
5) An indestructible Toyota pickup with the biggest, scariest torquiest diesel around, and
6) A long-wheelbase Land Rover Defender with a TDi swap and galvanized chassis

Now I have a soft spot in my heart for rotaries, and the RX-8s are blasphemously un-turbochargable, so conveniently #7 becomes a
7) Mazda RX-7, the sequential-turbo one. And a few spare turbos to be prepared :)

I also have a soft spot for a little-known car that needs a little lovin, so I'd buy a
8 ) Subaru SVX and enough spares to keep it running.

I have two more to go, and I can't really think of anoth...wait a minute, yes I can.

For #9, I'll need a grocery getter. But not any grocery getter, no sir. I'd pick up a little japanese wagon, and put it in my shop and do some magic to it, and then I'd have my
9) Subaru WRX STi Wagon baby!

And because I'm a rally whore, I'd need a rallycar to race. So I'd pick up a little japanese sports car and put it in my shop and...you know what's coming up next, right?
10) Subaru 2.5RS body with Frankenstein STi Engine. Rally prepped of course :)

Now I'm out of garage space! Pooh! The also-rans were a 1953 Corvette which I'd never drive so it doesn't count, a Miata that got replaced by the Exige (duh), a Jeep and a HMMWV that were tied with the Defender but just not quite cool enough, a 1969 Baja Bug that I'd have to move to Arizona to really appreciate, and a 1995 Ford Escort wagon for...nostalgia :) Also I love the Noble and my gf would slay me if there were no Morgan on this list, but hey, she gets her ten too, right? ARGH, I can't pick just 10!!

Hell yes :) Rotaries are just too damn cool. The SVX beat out the JC Cosmo by a hair :)

Hummer H1 Alpina Concept

Could someone link me to this? I've never heard H1 and Concept in the same sentence before...

Interesting this as it illustrated everyones tastes in cars.

From the top of my head these are the coolest cars in the world:

1984 Pontiac Trans Am KITT/KARR Replica (with LS2 engine swap)
2005 Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06
1997 Chevrolet Callaway Corvette C7 Sledgehammer.
1970 Pontiac GTO
1977 Corvette C3 Stingray
1989 Pontiac Trans Am TTA
1972 Plymouth Hemi Cuda
1968 Dodge Charger
1978 Pontiac Trans Am
2005 Ford Mustang GT

Not that I like American Muscle cars or anything!

Josty GT
(Better not put a diesel in that garage!)

Aston Martin DB9
Audi RS6 Plus Avant
BMW M3
BMW 750i - The one before Chris Bangle
Ferrari F355 Spider
Ferrari F40
Ferrari 288 GTO
Jaguar E-type (original)
McLaren F1 GTR
Range Rover

GM's engines in the Camaro and Firebird were rubbish in the early 80's, however I love the shape of those cars.

Therefore if I had one I'd swap the engine out for a new GM V8 block.

Audi A8 W12
Ferrari 550
McLaren F1
Audi RS6 MTM
Land Rover Disco
Volvo V70 R AWD
Skoda Octy vRS(tuned)
Aston Martin DB9
Audi ur quattro(tuned)
Porsche Carrera GT

Hmmm good idea... Well, my own personal creation would be a mid-front engined, transaxle, two seater with a 535d engine in it, just to demonstrate that Diesel and sport are not incompatible

Would require a very low final ratio because of the torque though, something like 1.5:1...

Ferrari Dino (yellow)
Ferrari 512TR (red)
Ferrari F430 (red)
Ferrari Daytona Spyder (red with plexiglass light cover, five spoke aluminum wheels)
1966 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 FHC (silver)
2005 Jaguar XJR (British Racing Green)
Aston Martin DB9 (silver)
Lamborghini Miura S1 (orange or blue)
Lotus Esprit S1 (white)
Military Mutt Jeep (camo)

These may (and will) change.... often.

1. Porsche 911 Turbo (996)
2. Porsche Carrera GT
3. Audi RS6
4. Pagani Zonda
5. Mercedes-Benz S65
6. Saleen S7
7. Koenigsegg CCR
8. Lamborghini Gallardo
9. Porsche Cayenne Turbo (nice all arounder)
10.Noble M12 GTO 3R

Try a 5 car garage. You'd need:

-All out supercar (McLaren F1)
-Smallish practical car (Mini S)
-Off-roader
-?
-?

...or maybe 3 would work.

3 would be the perfect start...

But now, we're going for 10:

Ferrari 575 GTC in silver, simply the prettiest car for me

Koenigsegg CCR, comes close to the Ferrari in prettieness and should go like nothing else...

M5, the new one, as a travel car... Don't need a 7 series or A8, because I won't sit in the back...

SL65, just as a convertible

Cayenne with the biggest engine, just to pull the boat I'd buy if I would have enough money to buy all the cars

VW T5 with the biggest tdi, and the whole luxury stuff

VW R32 with the biturbo you can out on it, 600 hp, nice AV equipment, just to amazwe other drivers...

Lambo Murci or Gallardo, can't decide right now... No, I guess a Murci

Dodge Charger

Instead of the last car I would get 2 bikes, Ducati 999R and BMW 1200RS

Buba

Hrm....let's see

1. Dodge Grand Caravan(gotta swap in a hemi therefore converting to RWD with a T56 from Keisler Auto or build up the 3.8L first!)

2. Dodge Viper (Gen II and newer)

3. 1969 Dodge Charger with 426 Hemi

4. Hemi 'Cuda

5. Dodge Ram 2500 with Cummins 610 and a twin turbo setup, nitrous, propane injection   Maybe the new Power Wagon

6. Chrysler ME-412 if they build it (my only supercar)

7. Chrysler Firepower if they build it

8. Dodge SRT-4 (PVO Lightweight Version)

9. 300C SRT-8, Charger SRT-8, or Magnum SRT-8. Possibly T56 swap?

10. Evo 8 MR or if I feel a bit like a gas hog, I'd buy a new Grand Cherokee or a Wrangler with a Hemi swap.

Can anybody tell I loooooove Chrysler? 8)
