I've fixed my HP printer. It had a sticking cartridge head.

googled HP printer problems,

.. looked around the website ...

.. followed the suggested steps

.. and hey presto, it lives!

...because I finally got an internet connection in the new place. :woot: Tethering is really annoying when your high-speed mobile data is limited.

Wow. Yesterday evening I made a backup of all my pictures I ever shot. The last time I did this was 18 months ago. :blink:

And today just a few minutes ago the main harddrive with the orginal pictures died. - It spools up but then a disturbingly loud wirr sound comes out of it and the PC has no access anymore.

Damn. Phew. What a timing. I'm so glad I haven't lost any irreplacable data. :thumbsup:
 
what a timing indeed, incredible o_O seems like it was just waiting for you to back up, hoooolding on just that little bit longer... for 18 months :D
