The Several Hours of FLeMons

You know I forgot I had even said that, I've had a busy week and I'm losing it a bit.

Hehe, maybe it's time to start and write things down? :p

edit: Equipped the Escort with Race weight reduction and it is still about 120kg heavier than the Alfa. So I suggest that we all go for the Alfa.

I was going to argue, but after driving that Alfa it's so much more fun than the Escort. You get about half way through the revs and it just flies and keeps going, the really engine screams before you have to change gear. :D

So yes we'll be using those. Now still in-keeping with the theme of those Escorts, the required and only mods for these are:

Sport Rollcage
Race Front Bumper
Remove Rear Bumper

Otherwise it's stock, no changing wheels or tyres, nothing. You can do what you want with the design but I suggest using the taped headlights by XxMORPH3USxX.

Regarding the track, Fukimi Kaido or Tsukuba, it's up to you all. Either one will be a good laugh. :)

Don't forget to get your Alfas ready for tonight, details above. Here's my design, trying to keep it looking like a 1960s car.

I found a paint scheme in the storefront I'll be running on my Alfa.

And here's a couple of pictures from the past two races.
First is my flying fox body from a month ago

And here's a couple of group shots from the start of the last race

I would like to apologize to those involved in the accident of my car going the wrong way. I had some family over, and had to attend to something, so I gave the controller to my little cousin to drive. I had no idea what happened until after we were done.

Not to worry. My driving wasn't exactly sterling either, especially at the start where overdid it and spun out whoever the lead cars were, then crashed again trying to stop the Corvette overtaking me.

Speaking of the Corvette though, that was a great race. Funny how well matched the two cars were!

So, where are we running this week?

I think it was going to be Maple Valley reverse. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yep, Maple Valley reverse. Which version of the track we do is up for debate, I prefer the shorter version to keep us together but if people want the longer circuits then we can do them. :)

I too prefer the short one. It gives those of us who fall behind crash a chance to not be caught in no mans land.

I'm guessing this will start 15 minutes earlier tonight as TG isn't on?

Indeed it will. I'm currently playing around with different cars, as well as going through some old replays.

Opening the lobby now.

Great racing tonight guys, great fun as always. After trying out a slightly uprated Genesis Coupe, it seems to be a good replacement for the RCZ. In the meantime, here's some pics from the start of the race.

Great photos. I haven't looked at the reply of that Smart yet but I think that photo says it all.

Very good fun yesterday. Main race could've gone better but I'm not in to win anyway, just to have fun. Looking forward to trying out the Genesis in its modified form.

So I just realized that Easter is this Sunday. I'm not doing anything, but was wondering if we will have enough of a turnout for this race.

50/50 chance I'll be there. Depends on how long it takes to get through lunch at my grandparents. lol

I'm hoping to be there. It depends on when I have to go to the in-laws for food.
