i was thinking that at first, there are people selling these on eBay as well now and the packaging looks somewhat official. at least, until i see these on the high street i wouldn't rule out the possibility of knock offs.

The Stiggy Banks (did you see what they did there) are already here. I saw one in Morrisons last week lurking in their Christmas gifts and sweeties aisle.

edited to say - They look official to me. Proper TG branded boxes, BBC logos etc

i have seen the floating pen and light keyring around as well but they are a bit expensive for what they are. very tempted to buy them though.
