It almost seems like Trump only went into politics for the attention and the money.

Who would have thought..?

He's an empty shell trying to find meaning. He's the ideal of what every church pastor and youth pastor has ever said what not to do. However, because he's (on the surface) opposed to abortion, the christian right thinks he's the second coming and dragging everyone else down with him.

Nicely put.

As for the religious people you’re referring to, they believe that folk tales from 2,000 and more years ago are “the truth“, insist that some made-up supernatural being has ultimate authority and are more easily misguided into hating others than even sports fans.

Whichever politician gets their support should immediately lose everyone else’s.

A new recording to a Georgia official from President Donald Trump may be enough for prosecutors to charge him with racketeering.

I would like there to be days of "there ain't shit happening right now, we'll update you when there's actually something to talk about, but for now Trumps still at large."
That does not make money

Hope there are enough law suits to take all his money.

Well the civil cases are numerous: E. Jean Carroll defamation for saying she fabricated his rape of her, Summer Zervos defamation that she lied about sexual harassment at the direction of the clintons, Mary Trump suing for inheritance fraud, Panama Hotel Fraud where the business exaggerated the value of the property, Trump Investors Class Action group of investors scammed into paying for worthless business opportunities, Inauguration fraud suits, January 6 lawsuits, civil tax cases...

This when he's under as many as 4 criminal investigations that put prison years on the table

Interesting to read the assessment that China did not attempt to interfere.

$230 million fraud discussed at the Trump Tower meeting in 2016 to Russia’s black-market weapons of mass destruction program.
Despite the interventions of Veselnitskaya—a Russian lawyer who was sent to the U.S. to persuade the Trump campaign to overturn the law—investigations tracing that stolen money continue to expose an international web of bank accounts linked to alleged wrongdoing.

How Trump Steered Supporters Into Unwitting Donations

Online donors were guided into weekly recurring contributions. Demands for refunds spiked. Complaints to banks and credit card companies soared. But the money helped keep Donald Trump’s struggling campaign afloat.
WinRed. Facing a cash crunch and getting badly outspent by the Democrats, the campaign had begun last September to set up recurring donations by default for online donors, for every week until the election.

Why would anyone want to give weekly donations?
