The Trump Presidency - how I stopped worrying and learned to love the Hair

He doesn't do it to actually get to postpone the elections, he does it so he will be able to refuse the legitimacy of the new President if he loses (which will probably happen).

Now the shithead in Chief wants to delay the election, he says due to mail in fraud. Red flags anyone?

Red flags were raised for me after he was elected and was crying about the "cheating" then. He won, yet there was still a problem. What will he do if he loses?

I still think he will use the virus as an excuse to try to postpone or cancel the election to try and hang onto power.

He would be fine with either - he won't accept the transition of power.

Yale psychiatrist backs Mary Trump’s assessment: The president "is mentally incapable of leading"
"Any honest and competent mental health professional has come to the same conclusion," says Dr. Bandy X. Lee

Yale psychiatrist who has sounded the alarm on President Donald Trump's mental health for years says that Mary Trump's book warning that her uncle is too unstable to lead the country corroborates what mental health professionals have been saying since before the president took office.

Mary Trump, a clinical psychologist, wrote in her new book "Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World's Most Dangerous Man," that she believes her uncle suffers from multiple personality disorders.

"I have no problem calling Donald a narcissist — he meets all nine criteria. But the label gets us only so far," she wrote. "A case could be made that he also meets the criteria for antisocial personality disorder, which in its most severe forms is generally considered sociopathy but can also refer to chronic criminality, arrogance, and disregard for the rights of others…. Donald may also meet some of the criteria for dependent personality disorder, the hallmarks of which include an inability to make decisions or take responsibility, discomfort with being alone, and going to excessive lengths to obtain support from others."

She went on to suggest that Trump has a "long-undiagnosed learning disability that for decades interfered with his ability to process information."

Bandy X. Lee, a forensic psychiatrist at Yale School of Medicine and a former research fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health, told Salon that she has been warning about exactly this since Trump's election. Lee suggested that Trump's recent deployment of federal forces to cities like Portland and Chicago was intended to distract from questions over his mental fitness.

"We know what Donald Trump is doing in dispatching federal forces into cities by what he did at the last election when he sent 5,600 active military troops to the southern border because of an 'invasion' by a migrant caravan: he is turning a non-concern into a campaign issue in order to distract from the real issues," she said in an interview. "What are the real issues? That his expert niece just exposed that he is mentally incapable of leading and is committing mass murder — what we independently said since a year ago, based on a standardized assessment, and since a month ago, because of his mishandling of the coronavirus pandemic."

Despite guidelines precluding mental health professionals from diagnosing patients they have not personally examined, Lee and others have argued that they have a duty to society that is separate from making a diagnosis and have sought to warn about the dangers of Trump's mental health since the 2016 election.

Lee, the author of the textbook "Violence," is the president of the World Mental Health Coalition, which issued a "Prescription for Survival" during Trump's presidency earlier this year and is launching a podcast series with radio host and former California Democratic Party chair Bill Press that features many of the authors included in the book "The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 37 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President," which Lee edited.

It goes on.

The whole presidency is a red flag and a warning that we need to look into the presidential powers.

And Trump's superspreeder event in Tulsa just claimed a big name in Trumpworld as Herman Cain died of Covid. Quick say something batshit crazy so that's bigger news and we don't have to talk about him.

US suffers worst economic decline on record in second quarter as GDP contracts by 32.9%

The United States has suffered its worst economic decline on record with the nation’s gross domestic product (GDP) contracting by 32.9 percent in the second quarter, as the coronavirus pandemic continued to cause one of the largest financial crises in history.

The Commerce Department's estimate of the second-quarter decline in GDP, the total output of goods and services, marked the sharpest such drop on records dating to 1947.

The previous worst quarterly contraction, a 10 percent drop, occurred in 1958 during the Eisenhower administration. News of the contraction came as the US also reported its second consecutive week in which the number of people seeking unemployment benefits ticked upwards, hinting at signs of a faltering recovery.

Last quarter's drop followed a 5 percent fall in the January-March quarter, during which the economy officially entered a recession triggered by the virus, ending an 11-year economic expansion, the longest on record in the United States.

The contraction last quarter was driven by a deep pullback in consumer spending, which accounts for about 70 percent of economic activity. Spending by consumers collapsed at a 34 percent annual rate as travel all but froze and shutdown orders forced many restaurants, bars, entertainment venues and other retail establishments to close.

Business investment and residential housing also suffered sharp declines last quarter. Government spending, diminished by a loss of tax revenue that forced layoffs, also fell.

The job market, the most important pillar of the economy, has been severely damaged.

Tens of millions of jobs vanished in the recession. More than 1 million laid-off people have applied for unemployment benefits for 18 straight weeks. So far, about one-third of the lost jobs have been recovered, but the resurgent virus will likely continue to slow further gains in the job market.

The virus forced millions of employers to slash jobs as consumers stopped shopping and traveling, and hotels, restaurants and small businesses closed their doors. Most analysts expect the economy to manage a sharp bounce-back in the current July-September quarter. Yet with confirmed coronavirus cases elevated in a majority of states, the economy could worsen in the months ahead.

Somebody needs to explain to him that they are the same thing.

EDIT:

He doesn't understand the system at all...

I don't think he realizes that if there's no election by the end of his term, his term still ends, governors get to appoint replacement congresspeople and both houses of congress will then lean Democrat, and pat Leahy (D) of Vermont, 80, would be President.

Or...maybe he does? Has this been his long game all along? Is he *actually* playing "4D Chess" while we're all playing "checkers"? Or...is he an uninformed, short-sighted baby.

With zero percent reporting I am projecting Joe Biden has won the election.

Trump is going to claim victory that night regardless of the results because he doesn't want to wait for votes to be counted. He actually doesn't want a vote but he wants people to talk about this rather than the economy or that hes killed 150,000 people so far with Covid.

He had low poll numbers from his Covid Taskforce TV meetings so he rushed reopening and had events in Arizona and Oklahoma. Then his superspreaders across the nation took the lead, ran out, reopened, and spit in each others mouths. The reopening failed the virus spread!

We told you it was too soon to reopen. Now he says children are immune and reopen schools. Support Trump kill your kids.

House report accuses Trump administration of 'waste, fraud or abuse' in U.S. ventilator contract

The committee, in a report released Friday, said the administration "squandered" more than $500 million in taxpayer funds for the essential equipment.

The committee said the Trump administration mismanaged an existing contract with Philips Respironics, agreeing to pay $15,000 apiece for Trilogy EV300 ventilators this year after Philips repeatedly failed to deliver 10,000 Trilogy Evo Universal ventilators ordered in 2014 for $3,280 apiece
