I don't know what he's got to castigate himself about, my research shows he's spent less than ?100,000 buying a beautiful car that's much less "shouty" than most Fezzas.
Certainly this year he's worked pretty hard, so a nice Christmas/birthday pressie is in order!
Struth! That's one nice ride! Very classy too, much like the man himself.
I'm glad he went with that now rather than red. (Or, in my opinion, the more lurid yellow.) As nice as red is, James and silver's a much better match. It's more befitting his personality and bloody gorgeous to boot.
Although I was in the "it has to be red or nothing" camp, after seeing the picture (thx LindenChase) I think this car would look kind of ordinary in red, if you can say that about a Ferrari. The silver color allows the curves to be the prominent feature- I think I can honestly say that is the most beautiful car I've ever seen. It's just stunning!
Can a car be art? In this case, I say Yes, oh Yes!
I am not a big fan of red cars but this car in silver is nearly as nice has a DB9.
BTW Is this car on the cool wall.
Also is its true that Richard now owns a DB9 because that means it will have to be moved out of the fridge.
Can't be bothered to wait and see if the DT staff remember to put it online. Thanks as always to the lovely Maygrail for the scan. This week, James rattles on about his Ferrari and apologizes for it.
I was so pleased he bought the grey one- I'm certain it was because I told him to! Everyone else was in favour of Red, but a grey one went past me a few weeks ago, and I thought it was the nicest, most non-wanky Ferrarri I'd ever seen. So well done James, on taking my advice.
