IBM (Lenovo) is apparently jumping on the wide-screen bandwagon with the Thinkpad Z series. The new notebooks will be using a Magnesium frame and will come in traditional Thinkpad black and Champagne Titanium.
For those interested (and I know there are quite a few Thinkpad users out there) check these out:

Unconfirmed Thinkpad Z Specs
The speakers on the side look so much like my 15" PBook. The Z seems to FINALLY have curved edges.
This is going to be interesting. I hope Lenovo will not disappoint.
Such a lovely looking Thinkpad. If it werent for it only running Windows I'd pick one up right now... Maybe Vista and Office 12 will change my mind.
