I watched the filming of the show tonight, just got back. The new team seems to work fairly well together, though I do miss Warren Brown.

There are some changes to the show and we got to see a really good interview and hot lap on the Celebrity section of the show. Unfortunately, I felt that Shane is a weaker interviewer on camera than he could be. He was really very funny between shots.

The show is featuring some great cars and has some real stars in line for the interviews, so I look forward to this season with a slightly optimistic view, hoping it isn't rubbish.

Who was the guest?

I really think that Ewan should be doing the interviewing, he must have a background in journalism.

Did they say when that ep will air? I know they did last time I went to a filming - just wondering if they've got the series locked in on 9 yet or if they'll separate them with 6 weeks of something else.

I got that vibe last time from Warren though Goldfish. I think everyone's just a bit nervous as to what might happen if they cock up too badly on film. When they're not rolling they're a lot more comfortable and funnier.

Still gotta find someone to go with for the Sept. 10th filming o_O

The episodes still have no firm date. Something I didn't post on the original post and could maby be classified as a spoiler:

They restarted the star in a reasonably priced car.

It's now a star in a beat up old Ute.... with a cow catcher, radio mast and plenty of stickers :) Not to mention plenty of body roll.

I too went to the taping last night. Was good fun, will probably see us during the News. They were looking for hot chicks to put up the front and picked out my cousin  went surprisingly smoothly, only a couple of cockups but otherwise fine, and the hosts were happy to chat in between takes and after the show. Steve Pizzati went to my uni (RMIT) so he is infinitely a million times cooler than before.

Of course it's a spoiler! Should have wrapped it in a
tag.
Done. I was trying to find the spoiler tags in the advanced post page, but I couldn't find it so assumed this forum didn't have them. I did warn you though.

Hi guys, I also have tickets but I've never been to Bankstown Aerodrome before. I can find it on the GPS but since it's such a big place which entrance should I take and where's the best parking?

You don't need to enter the actual aerodrome. The hanger is accessable from Birch Street. It is on the corner of Birch and Prentice Streets, though Prentice is more like a driveway than an actual street. They is parking along Birch Street if you get there early enough, otherwise just park up the road at the High Flyer Inn.
