to speed or not to speed, that is the question

Just seems silly that you have to have insurance to use a car but pretty much nothing else in life requires it.
 
Right, you have no money, drive a car and crash, seriously injuring someone so they can't work etc. They sue you so they have money to survoive but they don't get any because you don't have much. Insurence pays the money. That's why you need it.
