Little late, cause it starts in 10 minutes but it is gonna be a VERY interesting documentary.

Super Volcano kills 1 billion (!!!) people

BBC said:
While ordinary volcanoes can kill thousands of people and destroy entire cities, it's thought a supervolcano could claim up to a billion lives and devastate continents.

Hope some of you've seen it, very nice. This was the first part, it continues tomorrow at 9pm (GMT+00).

Now on BBC2 (10pm GTM+00) "The truth about Yellowstone Park".

I love BBC Documentaries

Hopefully someone on uknova.com rips it. I'll be right next to a supervolcano (if there ever will be one) :).

That "The truth about YellowStone" was on the Disco. Channel a couple of years ago. It was explaining how, mostly, the entire park is huge caldera and was once a supervolcano. Pretty cool stuff
I think they also explained about there being a bottleneck of the human population some 100,000 years ago and how it was about the same time a massive volcanic eruption.

Edit: If you wanna see if it's torrented: Link

How come you manage to get the BBC in Netherlands? through satellite or something do you get other channels?

I like documentaries on animals. There was one about a guy who lived for a year in a shack near a bunch of polar bears. He could scare one off just by using copied body language from dominant males.

We just have it here, BBC1 and 2, Discovery etc, even some spanish and french shit I never watch..

It's amazing

That was really cool, I was hoping they were going to continue the dramatisasion into the 2nd part. But it was still dam interesting. Yellow stone park looks an amazing place to go. I've been inside an active volcano in Greece before and the scale was huge, but nothing compaired to that

Any of you lot been to yellow stone?

There's a part1 of the "truth about yellowstone" document on tvtorrents.ws
Still no part2 of the movie :( Hasn't it aired alredy about a week ago?

Eh yeah there were 2 days of broadcasting the 2 parts of the first part, I assume the "truth about..." came after the second part too..

Oh so there is a 2nd drama bit... Anyone got it????

The original is on BTefnet.com, I'm not sure if this one has it but the other one came with a text file saying how they wouldn't otherwise release something so flawed because this particular release has 1m20s of audio missing at 17m58s I believe.
