God help you with that V10 in the rear with RWD
It wasn't me who voted for that

What i really wanted was a V10, mid-engine, 4 wheel drive (how crazy would that be? :D )

That'd be crazy as the... Murcielago! :D
doh! how could i have forgotten that car  :?

Voted for: Sportscar with RWD, a V10, manual, non convertible, Front engined
and by that I made it the most popular vote till now

..here's an idea.... there might be room for a v10 in the front..

kinda nice, actually for a drawing u made urself it's amazing, can never do something like that :)
I can see it's got a bit of a tvr in the back, hmmm mclaren f-1 headlights, an aston martin grille, am I right?
And dunno why it reminds me of a lotus elise.... can't pinpoint the similarities

I don't think a Front engined V10 car would be a good idea... take for example a Supra with a V6 engine... the engine is transversely mounted which means that the bonet would be very long and resulting in placing the cabin further back which in turn reduces the weight of the rear end which makes the car over-steer like a bitch... just like a supra

None of the suggested configurations! Why a V6, V8 or V10 when a 4 banger can do the job as long as the car is light!

Mid engined RWD with a 4 banger and less than a ton is my choice. Kind of... My car or an Elise, in short

I suggest a light weight V8 with RWD(something like the M5) would be enough... Mid-engine and rear-engine cars are abit un-reliable esp. when used in town driving because less air can get to the engine and cool it down

I don't have any cooling problems with my car...

Especially since the radiator and cooling fan are in the front bonnet, not the rear. In fact the highest I've ever seen is 93 ?C, and that was under 40 ?C in town after 20 minutes stalling traffic. Not really stuff to write home about!

but I heard the problems was that the radiator pipe was very long and was not very effective... I'm just guessing mid-engine cars have problems because I know for sure rear-engine cars have cooling problems...
and isn't 93?C quite high... my car runs at about 70?C in traffic when the outside temperature is 35?C... maybe its because I'm running 20W50 engine oil which takes a really long time to heat up because of the thickness

Oh well guess v10 is too much of a good thing
But not a 4 banger, it would sound awful... :p
Maybe v6 or an inline 6

With NOS, 6 turbos, tirewidth of 400mm at the rear, 8 gears, 2000Nm of torque

Damn should've put that into the poll :( :)

lol, 6 turbos, ya right :p
btw The most I've heard of is quad turbo, did anyone hear of anything with more turbos? It's pointless I know but does it exist?

Sure, Heard of this?
Scania 14.2 V8 with 6 turbos in a 2-stage setup. 3.000 hp @ 4.200 rpm. 6.200 Nm torque. weight ~6.000 kgs.

Ever heard of tractor-pulling?

Some of them have a couple of turbos (heard of one that had 6)

This "pusher" truck takes the phoenix up to about 120 Mph. This combo couldn't pass a smog test in Mexico City! As it leaves the line this set has 24 Cylinders, 6 Turbos and 3 Superchargers! It only burns 10 gallons of diesel fuel during a 5 mile run but the intercoolers eat up 25 $2.00 bags of ice. What a hobby.
