24 cylinders makes me think of three supercharged and twin turbocharged V8 engines. That might be easier to understand.

Well, neither, it will have none, because it's not gonna be made, ever. The f**ken car is vaporware and the folks over there deserve to be shot for all the hype they made over what is practically nothing. They even made watches for it a couple of years ago (jezza showed one in tg recently) and they didn't bother to make the damned car.

Officially they are improving it to reach 400Kmh because they promised the customers who were stupid enough to order (and maybe deposit money) on a non-existent car that it will have a top speed of 400Kmh
I hate hype, and I hate the stupid ppl who keep saying we're gonna make this and we're gonna make that and lay down barely believable claims... If you're gonna make the best car/game/hardware ever then you'd better shut up and work on it till you have something you can brag about!
And it happens a lot too, check duke nukem forever for example, or a company called bitboys that said they were gonna make a vga card to wipe out the competition (back then when geforce2 was competition), idiots!
 
Yeah but if people already made a transaction to them, they have already used the customers money, I don't think they will f.ck with peoples money if they are not sure if they're gonna make it or not...
 
I am not sure if ppl already paid money, I know that they received orders but I dunno if that was accompanied by money deposits, even if there were deposits it's normally not very large sums of money (relative to the car's price) I remember you had to pay like "only" 10K sterling pounds as a deposit to a Merc McLaren SLR so it's no big deal.

I dunno but I've already hated the car because of the hype surrounding it without any real appearance so I don't care about it anymore, I'd still be surprised if they ever make it though :)
 
Oh I heared it too on telly, people already paid really big sums of money (i.e. 300.000...don't kill me for that...not sure)

I made a little concept!

Be nice with me, I'm not into car-designing normally you see, heh. Anyways, I thought
I'd draw a front engined RWD thingy with a rotating airbrake/wing at the front.
Some inspiration from something like an X-Power and a 70's american muscle car (just with better handling)
I'll make a computer illustration tonight if people seem to like it with Illustrator,
that will show more details and stuff :) What do you think so far?

(note: that top view is a bit distorted, it should be called top/slightly rear view) 8)

I am amazed that the back-end is very neat in contrary to the norm, desingers usually do everything they can on the front-end and then the back-end turns out ugly as hell as they can't do anything with all those lines and curves they took from the front
I like it, the front reminds me of that new MG XPower SV-Rxyzfmx :)

Oh, it sure as hell could do that speed by means of power. The problem is stability, as showcased by a test driver's high speed spin at 230-odd mph(or so I heard, I recall Autosport had the story so can't be completely shite). Last I heard they would limit the top speed to 212 mph.

I do agree on the hype, though. The amount of it has been utterly useless.

In front end, I can see more than one similarity with your design and MG SV. And the rear reminds me of Ferrari. I quite like it. There's no way I could manage something like that with pen and paper.
 
Thanks! I read your posts after I edited my post and I actually wrote that I
took some inspiration off the X-Power so you are very right. Even though I
wasn't looking at it when I drew it there's no denying the similarity
