Top Gear LOVERS HELP PUT A HATER TO REST!!

So on another forum I post on we started talking about Top Gear and this is what one guy said.

I hate Top gear. that host is such a wanker who can't drive.

lets compare an EVO to a Lamborghini with this poorly edited, stupidly presented untimed "race" where the EVO hangs with the Lambo areound a few corners and is therefore faster.

oh and lets show how bad the turbo lag is on the EVO by racing a fiat from a 20mph roll in fifth gear. that's not turbo lag, dipshit, that's called lugging an engine! who races from 20 mph in 5th!?

fifth gear is better.
the best of course is the Best Motoring but they're very Japanese-biased.

Now help me figure out something snappy to say that will make him cry. I disagree with everything he says other then that Clarkson is a wanker because he is(but in a good way).

EDIT: Now that I think about it what makes me mad is that the guy who's post I quoted said that, Top Gear was poorly edited. Its of the best shows in the world, awesome angles, awesome music, awesome scene transitions.

Yeh 5 seconds would have been visible on the track. C'mon its no surprise that that guy who was in the Lambo probly slowed up a bit for JC. Very staged I think and its not a downer or anything, its just something we expect for the entertainment.

top gear isnt exactly a show we watch to memorize facts, specs, prices or statistics about cars.. Most people here watch Top Gear for the mix of car talk with humor and entertainment.

Don't need to e-fight or argue on forums over it. As an entertaining motoring show, top gear delivers. bottom line. end of thread.

I love Top Gear for its innovative way of looking at cars.. the stuff they do sometimes really draws out positive or negative aspects of the cars that you wouldn't really find if you did some goody goody test laps and a run across town.
Also, if you have at least a little bit of the kid you once were still in you, you'll love Top Gear and the nutty things they come up with. Who cares about nitpickety facts and dots and commas, we got automotive journals for that. If a show was purely about that stuff it would bore the pants of you.
Cars are about having fun, as soon as things start to get too serious, egh.. count me out, too much serious stuff going on in real life already as it is.
