Seeing as it's been a long, long time since I was a regular member of this forum I have no idea if this thread will even work, if there's been a huge exodus since The Big Three left for Amazon, but if I don't ask, I won't get...

I am clearing out my house, and among the junk I have three boxes full of Top Gear magazines, most of them from between 2009 and 2016, after I'd finished reading Auto Express (all of which have long since gone to the recycling plant). This forum is, I would suspect, the number one place where I'd find someone who might want to take them off my hands. When I was a regular member here I always wondered if "that thing we used to do which we don't mention" would also extend to scans of the magazine to create an archive that one of the FTP servers might host, though I never saw any evidence that would happen. There were times where I intended to scan all these myself, but I never got round to it, mostly because of the enormous amount of time it would take, and - due to the way TG magazine is printed - likely as not I'd need an A3 scanner to get a decent scan of each double-page spread.

Anyone who wants these magazines, your best shot is to drop me a line at baron (at) thorcast.co.uk and, likely as not, be prepared to pick them up from Nottingham - unless I find myself going somewhere near your way. Ideally, I'd like them shifted before the end of September.

The issues I have are:

142 - July 2005
147 - December 2005
150 - March 2006
151 - April 2006
168 - August 2007
169 - September 2007
180 - July 2008
182 - September 2008
193 - July 2009
195-241 - September 2009 - March 2013
243-246 - May-August 2013
248-257 - October 2013 - June 2014
259 - August 2014
261 - October 2014
263 - December 2014
264 - end-of-2014 Awards issue
267-269 - March-May 2015
272 - August 2015
288 - November 2016

And some extra bits and pieces:

Test Drive Directory vol.3 - February/March 2006
Supercars - summer 2007
Top Gear 200th Issue Collectors' Edition Best-of Thingy (that's really what they called it) - January 2010

Welcome back. It's been too long.

Something else I could mention: I've also got all the Official F1 season reviews from 1981-2002 on VHS - and these all need to be cleared. Let's just say I've... made some arrangements, given that none of these ever had a DVD release. Some of the tapes are 1990s reissues (such as the 1981 and 1983 reviews), some are original releases (which means the 1982 review is fairly ancient).

I remember buying them off eBay ages ago as a job lot. On the off-chance that anyone wants them, raise a hand.

EDIT: (6 September 12:39) 1981-1989 and 1991-2002 are still available.
