Top Gear theme on the Carson Daily Show!

I'm watching the Carson Daily Show right now and to my surprise the band is playing the Top Gear theme song throughout the whole show!
Anybody else notice this?

(It's an American show)
 
er nope...whats the reason for it?
when the hell is that show on? channel?
 
The song from Top Gear isn't an original song.

It's called "Jennifer" by someone I forget right now. Old classic rock tune.

Actually, it's Jessica. But yeah, by the Allman Brothers Band.
 
Guess it's hard for you guys across the pond to understand... Jessica by The Allman Brothers Band is a _very common song_. It's not Top Gear's song, they didn't make it...

Chevy also used the riff from the song in a recent Cavalier/Cobolt commercial, very annoying knowing the Top Gear association.

I guess somebody's favourite song was "stolen" by Top Gear for their theme song . . .

It was just a song that was played during transitions during last night's Carson Daily Show. Since they change the song every day, I doubt it'll come up again.
