Please don't use this thread to find the names of songs in episodes for which there is already a thread for in "Specific Episode Discussion". Thanks. - Viper

Does anyone know the name of the "techno" song that is played during the Carrera GT piece from the May 30th TopGear?

Thanks in Advanced.

It's Prodigy, their "latest" (last) album (1997): "Fat of The Land" - which song I can't remember. If you like that song-my man: RUN RUN RUN AND BUY THE ALBUM ;) best investment ever!

Thanks for you help guys. The name of the song is "Smack My Bitch Up" by Prodigy on their Fat of the Land album as haz stated.

Another thing everyone who likes the song should do is dl the music video!!!! (It was voted best music vid of ALL TIME! by MTV some time ago)

It's awsome, and a GREAT ending

Try Kazaa, I found it there......

I don't know of any where else on this forum to ask this q, so I'll ask it here: does anyone know what song and artist that is set for the backgroundmusic in "Ruch Montage" clip?

You can watch the clip here (the bottom left clip) http://www.gofastvideo.com/gallery/album/view/18 if you don't already have it ( it's actually quite ok this clip :) )

It's the first song I'm interested in... freakin kooool song that is :p :p 8) :p :p

A Porsche scene other than the one in the beginning of the "Ruch Montage" video?

Can you give me a time into the video where it starts?

Also, you can probably do it yourself, just listen to the lyrics and find one or more parts that you would not find as common wording in a web page.
For example on the Jimmy Eat World video, I typed the following in Google to find it:

+"are you listening" +"i was spinning free"

That method didn't work for me with mine.

Song I'm looking for is from the Noble M12 segment on the Best of 2002 episode.

Some of the only lyrics you can make out are "I was looking for a good time..."

Yeah I imagine that "I was looking for a good time..." are gonna get you some interesting Google results    .

You'd really need something more specific than that.
Short of that you'd have to run into someone that would recognize the song.

I wonder if there is a forum or website out there that is dedicated to these types of song recognition hunts.

i tried for weeks to get the noble song to no avail. you'll never get it by yahoo'ing the lyrics. need to find someone who knows the song.
ps the lyrics are:
i was up for a good time
and you can try to find somebody like me ....easier said than done
i've got to lose

Hey there, does anybody know the song from episode 8 from Series 1. They had the 400 plus BHP cars, BMW M5, Jaguar S-Type R, Audi RS6 Saloon and Mercedes E55.

The music starts after Jeremy says "Welcome to the world of 500 brake horse power", he drives off in the Mercedes and then you see the car in a forest/wooded area, there are trees on the left and right and the car in the middle, the camera starts at the top from the trees and pans down. Jeremy then starts to talk about how he doesn't like the E class styling and that it looks too much like a Honda. Here is a link to a webpage about that episode: http://www.bbc.co.uk/topgear/prog8/400club.shtml

I doubt anyone has this episode or remembers the music from it because it isn't
on Bit Torrent or the Internet but you can download a clip from that episode, using WinMX or Kazaa search for Top Gear and then download the clip that should be named "Top Gear - BMW M5 vs Jaguar S-Type R vs Audi RS6 vs Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG - 400Club" If you have that clip then play it at 4mins 9 secs and the music will start to play, I hope you can help me find this music.

IF you still lookin for the porchse song....its

I've heard "Smack My Bitch Up" and I don't think it's that, unless you weren't talking to me.
