Well, Toronto has two sides.

There's the fluffy, green, park filled bit, where I live, and then there's the skyscraper stuffed part full of awesome buildings where boring people gather to discuss marketing.

Some nice photos in there - keep at it!

And sorry, but I hate the D3000. Too small, I dislike the placing of the info on the main screen (I know this isn't just the D3000, but I still dislike it) and it just doesn't feel solid enough for me. My D50 is much nicer IMO.

I understand what you mean, but I wanted something cheap with the security of it being brand new, and the D3000 was the best option in my opinion. I don't mind the info on the main screen though, especially since the most important info is located in the viewfinder as well, and for me, it feels solid enough.

I'm sure the True Viking will be along shortly to set things straight.

And recomend an Olympus. :p

Well, I do think the E-520 is superior to the D3000, but that's merely because I dislike the Nikon colors (that, and built in IS + wireless flash). I don't like them that much. Then again, for colors, my old E-400 is UNBEATABLE (NO F*CKING WAY to beat it), and that's properly crap, so what do I know? Not to mention that with the E-x10-cameras, people went around dialing in 1/3-2/3 negative compensation.

What were we talking about again? Oh.

I must admit I don't really remember what Canon and Nikon do in terms of over- and underexposure. It might be because it's a while since I used a Canon or a Nikon, most of all I guess it's because I only ever use manual exposure with spot metering. Tried using aperture priority and matrix metering some weeks ago. Didn't like it.

Sorry guys, I can't help.

:)

When I place it on Aperture or Shutter priority, my D50 overexposes wildly, but on full Auto and Manual (I never use any of the others) it tends more to underexpose slightly.
