1. scan each line for key info and write it on pieces of paper, for example for line 1, you have Brit, Red House on a piece of paper.
2. rearrange the pieces of paper accoring to the rules.
3. the piece of paper without an animal has the fish.

Oohh.. :wall:
I feel stupid... :cry:

I used Excel since it was handy (ESPNSTI - pieces of paper - BAH! this is the 21st century, you know, the paperless office and all that :p) - but the process is the same i.e Five rows - House colour, Nationality, Smokes, Drinks, Pets, and arranged the bits of info as per the clues

Trees are my enemy. <_< (j/k) :p

heres the answer to mine

Each of them paid 90
90x 3 + 270

The boss only want $ 250

The maid kept $ 20

$250+$20 = $270

3X - 30 = 250 +20

X = 90

there's no 10 dollars missing! tricky

Not in my world it doesn't...

Where X = 90
3X-30 = 250 + 20, so
(3x90) - 30 = 250 +20, so
270 - 30 = 250 +20, so
240 = 270 huh???

(I know what you're trying to say, I'm just being a smartarse :p)

you could give a rats ass or you couldnt?which issit.... cuz if you do.....

How can you be late giving the answer to your own riddle? :lmao:
FATMOUSE already posted the answer.

Now I have a riddle for you: You have six bags and 25 coins. How can you put the coins into the bags so that there is an odd number of coins in each bag and none of the coins are left out?

That's not a good riddle, (highlight to see why) there is no solution, because if all bags have to have an odd number of coins and there are 6 bags, the total would always be even, odd+odd=even, so the only way for this to work is to have 1+3+5+7+9 and then put those bags in the last bag

The riddle with the with the fish is nice....a good brain exercise.
I solved it a few years ago, so it seems at least 3 people of the 2% that can solve it are in this forum!
