1. Scan (using the scanning option on the page ... somewhere) your comp to find out which virus/worm/trojan you have.
2. Search for that trojan on the search option on the page to find the removal tool for that exact trojan
3. You should've been able to remove it.

there are several of those spyware things, haven't got a problem with any of them, they're gone before they arrive, and at least they inform you at some extend. except for one: lop.com
one day, you wake up, and you're infected, search bars all over the place, and no way to get rid of it. or there is, they have a button uninstall, redirects to some pay-adware removers
