this is the new advertising for oslo trams campaign; "there's another tram coming in 5 minutes" .... kinda funny, and innovative!




sign reads "do you think it's difficult to find good parking spaces"?

Yeah, great, and its probaly cheaper than other forms of advertising. (unless they have to pay for parking the car :eek: )

no, what they did is prolly just buy the cars as wrecks (ca. $200) then after the advertising is finished, just sell the cars as wrecks at the "wreck pawners", and recieve the ca. $200 they payed for them ... so free advertisment, as the parking was free :)

lol... this is what you call effective marketing... this image would remain in your head for a while.... which is the entire point of advertising
 
yea what if i find it hard to park? i still wouldnt take the tram....its so slow. even if there was one to come in 5 minutes, i'll be 50 mins later than finding a car park lol
 
not really... if countries have very developed public transportation... it is actually quicker... jason.. you can even take hk for an example... if you're going to Central... you aren't exactly going to drive and think about where to park and esp. when it cost about 4USD an hour
 
no but the tram sucks. no offence but the lower class people in hong kong are extreamly rude and horrible. i am not talkin about people in here if u judge ur self lower class, please take no notice of this ok. i mean i offer seats to the elderly, disabled sick or young or pregant and they dont even say thank you, i still do it but it just makes me sick.

once i gave a begger a little bit of money........he asked for more. i really was going to take it back and spit in his face

not at all, public transport is a good idea imo and that looks like a pretty good tram system you've got. In Sheffield near me, we only get single decker trams.

public transportation in hk is one of the most efficient I've seen... buses arrive every 15mins, subway every 3mins, and trams just come when they want :lol: ... I always think public transportation is a key to a successful city... over here in malaysia... it is unbelievably crap... trains come every like 15mins and they are always late... same applies to buses
 
I don't mind going with the tram or bus at all. If I need to be in the centre of a big city I always use bus, it's fast, cheap, and you don't need to worry about parkingspots.
 
^... exactly... thats the whole point... no pointed driving like 5mi into the city and spend loads of time finding parking spots...
