I find it baffling how one of the cited reasons is the economy… do those people live in opposite land or something? WTF have they been smoking?

Americans are notoriously "short term thinking" motivated. As a result, we (royal we) tend to not get that the economy is a lagging indicator and attribute it to whatever president is currently in power.

It's stupid but at this point something that'll likely never change in my lifetime.

GDP growth last month was 4.9%

The economy is doing better than people believe and the economy is less of a factor in voters motivations.

By time they do anything, he will have served almost the full term.
 
As long as the Republicans are fighting among themselves, they cannot pass the kind of legislation they stand for these days.

In August, Trump self-reported his height and weight to the Fulton County Jail as 6'3" and 215 pounds. Some on social media pointed out those were the same dimensions as Ravens Quarterback Lamar Jackson (though Jackson, at 6'2", is technically shorter).


Trump weighed in at 243 pounds during a presidential physical in 2019. His doctor said then he was overall in "very good health," but was technically obese.
